Bendy & Strong: A Case for Learning 'The Swipe'

Oct 28, 2022

The Swipe is great bang for your buck when it comes to physical benefits and the great news is that it's completely scalable.

Benefits of the Swipe

The Benefits are:-

1. Stronger Healthy Feet;

2. Better knee health to the due knee over toe position;

3. Strong quads from the sissy squat entry;

4. Improved hip mobility due to the extended open position;

5. Strong active glutes that switch on;

6. Better thoracic mid-back mobility to win the fight against bad posture!

The swipe should be learned using the progression that challenges you but is not impossible and then patiently over time, lower it down and increase the amount of arch.

Take your time with this and allow for adaptation over weeks and months rather than rushing and risking any unnecessary injury.

The result will be a strong more open position that you can then incorporate into your broader movement or locomotion game.

Here is an example of how to combine the Swipe with another Locomotion Skill as you start to create combinations.

Learning the Swipe in Locomotion Flow

These skills are included along with dozens more in my online movement program Locomotion Flow 2.0.

This course will teach you hundreds of skills and combinations and how to flow in powerful fluid movement sequences.
