One Decision to Change Your Life. Here's How.
The truth is, students usually require 2-3 phases of personal online coaching (each phase spanning 8 weeks) to really “own” the basics of a Movement Practice and to understand the process.
Why?
For several reasons.
First, when it comes to the strength & conditioning for handstands, gymnastics strength & mobility, rings & locomotion flow – while muscle tissue can adapt within a single phase (changes can be felt & seen inside 8 weeks), the supportive joint tissue (ie. ligaments & tendons) takes far longer to adapt (many phases).
Second, as simple as some skills like the Handstand may look, this pattern alone is actually complex made up of many parts. Think of it like a House, you need a foundation, structure that can handle the load and since you’re living in it, why not make it look pretty too?
Building awareness in the body to organize these parts in the correct arrangement simply takes time for the new neural-pathways to form in the brain.
Third, there are more subtle qualities available for cultivation within your practice that cannot be accessed until the larger motor skills are acquired. Here I am talking about softness, fluidity and how you move between the gross motor patterns.
In this third area of development it becomes less about where the body is in space and more about how it feels as you move. In this sense, an internal experience begins to develop within the existing external one.
All these qualities take time even with directed learning.
Learning to Love the Process
A commitment to a “Process” is required for effective results.
This is how the seemingly impossible is made possible.
You learn to enjoy the frustration of failed repetitions during this process because you know that each one brings you closer to your goals.
This process teaches you how to do hard things and has possible applications in other parts of your life.
If I can stand on my hands for an entire minute upside down, when last year this was impossible for a single second, what else could I achieve?
Whilst a process is built with the result in mind, there is no need for arbitrary timeframes to achieve them.
If the process is followed to the best of one's ability, the result occurs in the most efficient time possible – naturally & without force.
You learn that the “result” is not in fact the reward at all, because as soon as you acquire it you desire another. Then another. They become cotton candy, sweet on first bite but not something you can savor for long.
You soon discover that sustainable nourishment comes from the work itself. Each repetition is a valuable stepping stone leading further along the path.
It’s in all these stepping stones that if piled high, you start to see mountains.
Trust the Process - Reap the Reward
You might initially think of a 6 month focused commitment to your movement practice as “long term”, but on the scale I would prefer you to think in (a lifetime) this is in fact short term.
John Dannaher, (MMA and BJJ Coach) has famously said that with intelligent programming, hard work and consistent dedication, you can transform an inexperienced individual to elite world champion caliber in 5 years.
Not everyone has aspirations to win a world title at something, but imagine achieving just a fraction of this had you started 5 years ago.
Even with the normal demands of life – the job, relationships, kids and time for a life outside of just training.
It’s possible because I’ve done it and seen many others do it too.
In the past 5 years, these are are the types of results I have achieved as a general movement practitioner using just online programming and support all while running my busy law firm, raising two kids as a single Dad and still have time for a fun life outside of just training:-
- Going from no Handstand to warming up with minute long Handstand holds.
- Unlocking Handstand Push Ups, Press to Handstand, Stalder Presses.
- Going from doing just a few chin ups to Muscle Ups, Forward & Backward Ring Rolls and Much More.
- From never having even attempted Locomotion to becoming a teacher of it.
- From being able to do just a few push ups to being able to do advanced feats of gymnastic strength like planche & 90 degree push ups.
- From having no flips at all to being able to do standing backflips, kip ups, gainers, aerials and many more tricking combinations.
- Healing from various injuries (prior shoulder dislocation, hip labral tear, broken ankle, lower back pain) primarily through improving mobility.
I did all this practicing on average 3-4 days per week for one hour a day. There were also the unavoidable downtimes (the kids got sick, I got sick and all the other $hit life inevitably throws at you).
Oh yeah….and I didn't start my commitment to a Movement Practice until I was 36 years old and no, I didn’t do gymnastics as a kid or anything like that.
In fact I couldn't raise my arms above my head or touch my toes when I started. I couldn't jog without pain and almost every sort of “exercise” was painful because my body was so out of shape, toxic and inflamed.
My reason for starting? The short version is I hit rock bottom after a battle with alcohol, depression and a divorce. Losing the privilege to live with my children full time who mean more to me than anything was the wake up call I needed.
So one day, on my knees in the gutter crying, I made the decision to change.
That commitment lead me to online training support and I never looked back.
Now I'm 41 and I'm stronger, more flexible, more skillful than when I was in my thirties. The physical pain I used to walk around in is also gone.
There were also a number of unexpected gains that came from this commitment. When I looked back at the financial performance of my business, there was a steady and consistent increase in the amount of money I made.
Prior to that my business had been stagnating, but with so much extra energy and mental clarity, I was more productive and made better decisions. I tripled my income in 5 years and sold my business for more than 10 times what it cost me to start.
I also got to spend more fun, active time with my kids than I had ever had before.
It all came from that one powerful decision to commit to a life of Movement Practice.
The Student Becomes the Teacher
I never set out to become a teacher, but at a certain point when you accumulate enough skill and knowledge, students start to appear.
Teaching then takes your own understanding of the principles and skills to a much deeper level which becomes a whole new rewarding mountain to climb.
For the past 2 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching numerous students from various parts of the world online and in person from different backgrounds and experience levels.
With intelligent programming and support, I have watched these amazing students apply themselves and unlock their handstands, muscle ups, levers, locomotion patterns as well as gain strength, mobility, build muscle, lose fat and best of all, fall in love with the process.
A Deeper Connection to Your Practice
Not only do I want my students to love the process AND get results, I also want them to understand the WHY behind the programming.
With a deeper understanding of the process, students are then empowered to share their knowledge and experience with others and we can all play a role in the reduction of physical & mental suffering around the world.
Once in a Lifetime Offer - Are you Ready?
I am looking for individuals who are ready to commit to a weekly movement practice.
You’ll need as a minimum 3 days a week to train for at least an hour each session.
All my programming can be done with minimum equipment and can be done from home (or a gym). You’ll need a bar to hang from, a wall to use for support and just a small amount of open space (some rings would be awesome but not mandatory).
We start out with a chat about your current situation, your history and your goals. If you are unsure of your goals, I help you get clear on these so we stay ambitious but realistic (think handstands, specific gymnastic strength skills, locomotion moves, mobility postures like bridge or split etc).
Then we test out some basic postures as a reference point for later and I design you a custom program for your first 8 week phase.
The program has video demonstrations of each skill with audio cues (in English).
Each 8 week phase has a first week of testing, 6 weeks of work and a final week of re-testing/deload.
I support you weekly with unlimited feedback. We can video call and send messages via Telegram/WhatsApp as well as email.
To encourage you to take on a 6 month commitment to online programming and see the best results possible, I am offering you a ridiculously good discount for an upfront, no holds back F$%k Yes “Im in” sign up:-
6 Month Package Deal

Ok, so here’s the catch. So I can properly plan out my year and manage my own teaching commitments, this crazy price is only available for the first 5 students who sign up before 31 January 2023.
My Guarantee to you is this; if after the first 8 week phase of training you're not satisfied with the experience, I will refund your money.
